Not a lot to do there if you are under 18. To rent computer keyboards or go to the gym you need to be 18+ or have a parent or guardian to do it for you. Going there by yourself as a minor is not recommended. The good side is, I really like the pool table in the activity center and it was fun learning how to play. The staff were really nice on entry and sometimes on exit.

The community center is great overall for the neighborhood, safe space for many, great teaching opportunities and majority of the staff is AWESOME! But, certain staff members (not all) have harassed me multiple times about certain rules with an aggressive approach. One time I was with my son that’s 10yrs old on the basketball helping him out and I was told to be off the court as I didn’t have a certain footwear. The next time I came, I was having my daughter 6yrs old shoot around and they told me she can not be on the court due to it not being “athletic shoes” but it was regular shoe attire you may wear anywhere during, rain, snow or shine. I believe some of them are abusing their power as one has threaten to kick my kids and myself out after I agreed to have my daughter step off the court.

The doctor, there was very intimidating and forceful to try to force me to make my daughter get all the vaccines in the book, when I said that I wanted a religious exemption, she left the room mid sentence and printed out a sheet that did not include any vaccines that I wanted to be exempt to get my daughter into kindergarten! then she would not see me and said that that was the final result and I had to go see a different clinic if I wanted a different clinic if I wanted a different result for exemptions for vaccinations. And when I went to talk to the office and the manager to explain the problems I was dealing with all they had to say was go talk to a different exemptions, a terrible place to take a children. I would highly recommend against it they force you get anything they want and if you say anything against it, they leave the room, very bad people!!!

I actually took my son for a doctors appointment, and to my surprise, this community center has so much to offer. Arts and Crafts, a gym, Doctors ofgice and Dental. I really like how you have to sign in and show ID to even enter the center. You will, in return, receive a card so the next time you just scan yourself in. I was told that in the near future, they will offer rooms for rent for any events you are planning, how exciting!!

Family first community center is fantastic. I’m not sure how else to put it. This place gives kids a safe and fun place to come to after school. I go there weekly to play pickleball. Everyone is so welcoming there and there is such a variety of skill levels but everyone is there for a great time. My father in law goes there weekly as well. Overall this place is fantastic and I have to say the staff is 100%. Always smiling and supportive.
